Run Zero on Your Own Computer for Free
Zero is open source. Run it on your Mac, or on a home computer that stays on, and it works with the ChatGPT or Claude plan you already pay for. You pay Zero nothing, and your Zips run on your own computer.
Zero is free to run on your own computer. Hosted plans for people who would rather not run anything open later.

A hosted plan will run Zero for you, so you will not need a computer of your own or an AI plan.

An agent minute is a minute of a Zip working on the computer, such as browsing, filling in forms, running code or reading files. Chat, memory, to-do lists and scheduled jobs do not use agent minutes.
Zero shows how many you have left. Before a long job it tells you roughly how many minutes the job needs and asks first.
Zero stops the job and tells you. You will be able to add 30 agent minutes for $2 on any plan, or wait for your minutes to reset at the start of next month. Chat keeps working either way.
A turn is one message from you and Zero's reply. The monthly number is a fair-use amount, and Zero tells you if you get close.
Start with the free option. It costs nothing, and you can move to a hosted plan when they open.
Hosted plans are for people who would rather not run anything themselves. Zero Cloud at $8 will suit most of them. Lite at $5 is for mostly chatting with a few small routines, and Plus at $12 is for Zips that work on long jobs most days.
Start with Zero, then add a Zip for each job you want off your plate.
